Rocket League's Halloween event is coming soon

Rocket League Haunted Hallows event will return again this year, albeit with a new DC Comics twist.

This year's Haunted Hallows event will feature a specially transformed limited-time Rumble mode featuring power-ups inspired by Batman and his chums, including Joker's Boxing Glove, Harley's Hammer (which replaces the Boot), and Poison Ivy's vines, which will stand in for the Grappling Hook, beginning on October 14 and running until November 1.

In addition, Haunted Hallows will include the limited-time Beckwith Park (Gotham Night) Arena Variant, as well as special challenges that may be performed to acquire Batman supervillain-themed Rocket League items. For instance, the Joker Dominus Decal and Boost, Harley Quinn Wheels and Topper, Gotham's Finest Merc Decal, Poison Ivy Boost, and others are all available.

Finally, because no seasonal event would be complete without premium cosmetics to buy, three Batmobiles will be available in Rocket League's paid shop for the duration of Haunted Hallows - the Batmobile (1989), the Dark Knight's Tumbler, and the Batmobile (2016) - as well as three Bat-Signal Goal Explosions, each inspired by a different Batman era. All are included in a 2,000 Credit package, although there will be additional purchasing options.

The event begins October 14, and all players who check in during the Haunted Hallows event will receive a free Dark Knight Player Title, according to developer Psyonix.
